Born Aug. 14, 1935, at Fairhope, he was a son of the late George J. and Violet M. (Emerick) Larson. He also was preceded in death by a brother, Emanuel Larson and two sisters, Lulu Belle Mangus and Betty Jane Pensyl. Surviving are two brothers, Charles C. Larson, Minneapolis, Minn., and Ralph R. Larson, McConnellsburg; three sisters: Henrietta V. Leydig, Fairhope; Eileen C. Emerick, Fairbanks, Alaska, and Patricia A. Miller, Stoystown, and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Larson retired this year with 28 years of employment at Snyderis of Berlin. He had served for 20 years as a fire warden for the PA Bureau of Forestry and was a member of Fairhope Community Church. Friends were received Sunday at the Harvey H. Zeigler Funeral Home, Hyndman, where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday with the Rev. Bradley Reider and the Rev. Daniel Leister officiating. Interment, Kammerer Cemetery near Fairhope.
