    LARSON

    Lester E. Larson, 80, 1005 Hoffman Ave., Paint Borough, formerly of
  Berlin, died March 7, 1990 at Church of the Brethren Home.  Born March
  20, 1909, in Listie, son of late Lars A. and Nellie (Miller) Larson. 
  Preceded in death by wife, former Mary Weimer, who died Oct. 8, 1986;
  sisters, Marie and Thelma, and brother, Earl.  Survived by sister
  Dorothy Venturella, Elyria, Ohio.  Also, survived by sister-in-law,
  Margaret McKay and Dorothy Weimer, both of Windber; also numerous
  nieces and nephews.  Member of Trinity United Church of Christ,
  Berlin.  World War II Army veteran.  Friends received from 2 to 4 and
  7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Meek Funeral Home Inc., Windber, where service
  will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Rev. Carl W. Schwarm.  Interment,
  Berlin Cemetery.
