LaRue, 61, of Fairfield Route 2, died March 24, 1983, at Gettysburg Hospital. He was born in Meyersdale, the son of the late Frank and Elsie (Pyle) LaRue. He is survived by his wife Edna (Coleman) LaRue, of Berlin; one son, Larry LaRue, of College Park, Maryland; one sister, Mrs. Bessie Walters, of York and three grandchildren. He was a member of the Reformed Church, St. Paul; was an army veteran of World War II; had received the silver and bronze stars and Purple Heart; worked for Montgomery County Maryland as a road superintendent. Funeral services were held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Peters Funeral Home, Gettysburg, with the Rev. Roy D. Fauth officiating. Interment Evergreen Cemetery, Gettysburg.
