LaRUE Gilbert Ray LaRue, 34, of Boynton died at 6 o'clock Monday morning, Jan. 31, in the Hazel McGilvery Hospital, where he underwent an operation last Tuesday. He passed away in sleep due to a blood clot in his heart. On Sunday he seemed to be recovering nicely from his operation. He was the son of Frank and Elsie (Pyle) LaRue and was born in Elk Lick Township, April 1, 1909. His father is dead. He is survived by his mother, a sister, Mrs. Earl Newman, Boynton, and three brothers - Pvt. Eugene, serving with the Army in Hawaii; Woodrow, Moween, Pa., and Merle, Meyersdale. He was a member of St. Paul's Reformed Church, the Salisbury Sportsmen's Association, and the Loyal Order of Moose. He was employed by the Potter Lumber Company of Meyersdale. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday afternoon by Rev. Nelson C. Brown at the Reformed Church at St. Paul. Interment will be made in Union Cemetery, under the direction of W. C. Price and Son.
