LASHLEY Benjamin R. (Mick) Lashley, 69, of 106 New Row, Mount Savage, Md., died Sunday, Aug. 3, 1986, at the Frostburg Village Nursing Home, Md. where he resided for the past three years. Born in Mount Savage, Md. April 22, 1917, a son of the late Benjamin H. and Lillie (Norris) Lashley. He was a retired employee of the Chessie System and a member of the Mount Savage United Methodist Church. He is survived by his widow, Betty (Snyder) Lashley; two sons, James R. Lashley and Dennis L. Lashley, both of Mount Savage; eight sisters, Mary Lashley, Lillie Lashley and Mrs. Leona Felker, all of Mount Savage, Mrs. Pluma Dom, Wellersburg; Mrs. Sarah Friend, Cresaptown, Md.; Mrs. Ruth Harden, Whitesboro, N.Y.; Mrs. Betty Zimmerman, Solon, Ohio, and Mrs. Etta Molloy, Laurel, Md.; four brothers, Randolf Lashley and William Lashley, both of Mount Savage; Robert Lashley, Frostburg, Md.; and Elmer Lashley, Cumberland, Md.; and four grandchildren. Friends were received at the Durst Funeral Home where services were held Wednesday at 1 p.m. by the Rev. John R. Scamehorn. Interment, Mount Savage Methodist Cemetery. Pallbearers were Donald Miller, Clyde Frankenberry, Elwood Lashley, Robert Lashley, Robert Felker, and Ruben Friend. The Republic, August 7, 1986 [L0332]
