  LaSURE
  
  George E. Lasure Sr., 65, of Lincoln Highway, Stoystown, died July 1,
  2001 at home.  Born April 14, 1936 in Sand Patch, son of Andrew and
  Violet (Bittinger) Lasure.  Preceded in death by parents and brother
  Clyde.  Survived by his wife, the former Catherine Wingard, and these
  children: Robert Mishler, married to the former Sue Powell, Palmerton;
  Belinda, married to Harold Stairs, Middlesburg, Fla.; Roxanne, married
  to Howard Black, Hollidaysburg; George Jr., married to the former
  Eileen Sesack, and Douglas and significant other Nancy Goodwin, both
  of Stoystown; and Dwight, married to the former Cathy Milewski,
  Springfield; 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; also a
  brother, Donald Lasure, Glencoe.  Korean War Air Force veteran. 
  Retired from Highland Tank and Mfg., Stoystown.  Member of Laurel
  Hill Gospel Tabernacle, and Laurel Ridge Sportsmen's Club.  He was an
  avid hunter and fisherman.  Family will receive friends from 2 to 4
  and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown.  Viewing
  from 10 a.m. until service at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Laurel Hill Gospel
  Tabernacle, Somerset Pike, Boswell.  Rev. Gary Anderson and Rev. C.J.
  Ickes officiating.  Interment Lambertsville Cemetery.  Memorial
  contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society, 168 W.
  Union St., Somerset, Pa. 15501.
