Born July 3, 1930 in Somerset, he was the son of Ward Peter and Helen Viola (Claycomb) Latshaw. Preceded in death by parents, brothers, Ward P., Bernard W., and Robert E. Latshaw. Survived by wife, the former Jean Arlene Walker, to whom he was married 43 years; daughter, Mrs. Rennie L. (Lori Ann) Lehman, of Stoystown; and one grandson, Carter Lee Lehman. Brother of Mrs. Elaine A. "Sis" Lenhart, Somerset. Member of Roof Garden Christian Church, a 1948 graduate of Somerset High School. U.S. Army veteran of Korean War. Owner of Latshaw's Service Station for 17 years, retiring in 1988. Former Somerset Borough policeman for nine years, from 1957-66. Inspector for Pa. Bureau of Licensing and Taxation from 1966-71. Active participant in New Centerville Farmers and Thresherman's Jubilee. Friends received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Monday, at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, where service will be conducted at 10 a.m., Tuesday. Rev. Roy A. Worsham officiating.
