He is the son of the late Charles and Hazel (Brown) Latshaw. Survived by wife, Jayne Layne Latshaw; sons, Ronald Latshaw, Natalbany, La., and Steven Latshaw, New Orleans; daughters, Teresa Latshaw and Nancy Dickson, both of New Orleans; a stepson, Charles Ashman, Tega Cay, S.C.; stepdaughter, Pamela Ashman, Baton Rouge, La.; two brothers, Wayne and Edward Latshaw, both of Ohio, a sister, Patricia Reese, Somerset; 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was a 50-year member of the American Association of Petroleum Geologist, and a life member of the VFW in Somerset. He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II. Funeral service was held Saturday, May 8 from the chapel of E.J. Fielding Funeral Home Inc., Covington, La. The Rev. Ed Barksdale officiated. Interment Pinecrest Memorial Gardens, Covington, La.
