  Philomene B. Latta, 76, Takoma Park, Md., Washington, D.C. formerly
  of Somerset, died March 10, 1984, in home of son, James in Takoma
  Park.  Born Nov. 24, 1907, in Berlin, daughter of Frank and Elizabeth
  (Hudson) Barr.  Preceded in death by parents, and husband, Elmer M. 
  Survived by two sons, Eugene, Easton, Pa.; and James, Takoma Park,
  Md.; also four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.  Sister of
  Lorraine Kelly, Youngwood; Helen Spangler, Berlin; and Jean Carnell,
  South Heights, Pa.  Member of Calvary United Methodist Church,
  Somerset.  Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
  Monday (today) at the Robert H. Halverson Funeral Home, where
  services will be conducted 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, the Rev. Harry C.
  Sherry officiating.  Interment, Berlin I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
