Born June 22, 1912, in Connellsville, a son of Charles E. and Cora (Frazee) Laub. Preceded in death by parents; brother, Robert; son-in-law, Richard W. Harvey; and great-granddaughter, Samantha Jane Harvey. Survived by his wife of 63 years, Rose (Teets) Laub; daughters, Betty Harvey of New Martinsville, W. Va., and Eileen Augustine of Addison; 5 grandchildren, Cyndra Van Clief, Charlottesville, Va.; Kenneth Harvey, New Martinsville, W. Va.; Rosella Hague, Oxford, England; Brenda Umbel, Friendsville, Md., and Linda Merschat, Markleysburg; 13 great-grandchildren and brother, Lyman Laub, Old Bridge, N.J. Member of the Addison United Methodist Church, Markleysburg Volunteer Fire Dept., and P.S.E.A. Taught school in the Henry Clay Township Mountain Area and Uniontown School District for 41 years. Friends received from 2-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence, and on Wednesday at the Addison United Methodist Church from 10:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. Funeral service will follow at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Timothy Rogers and Pastor Ross Glotfelty officiating. Interment, Addison Cemetery. Family suggests contributions to the Addison United Methodist Church Memorial Fund.
