  Agnes Lauer, 92, Scalp Level Church of the Brethren Home, formerly of
  Shanksville, died Aug. 30, 1984, at Windber Hospital.  Born April 2,
  1892, in Montana, daughter of James and Hannah (Bibby) Gillespie. 
  Preceded in death by parents; husband, the Rev. Carl in 1969; three
  brothers; a sister; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild. 
  Survived by these children: James E., married to Rosalie Custer,
  Lusby, Md.; John C. Sr., married to Rachel Miller, Friedens RD 2;
  Mrs. William (Marion) Chrysler, Decatur, Ill.; 12 grandchildren; 35
  great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; three
  step-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren.  Sister of: Mrs.
  Catherine Doty and Mrs. Annie Letcher; Stonington, Ill.; Mrs. George
  (Mabel) Rodger, Charlottesville, Va.; Mrs. Lillie Hite, Holiday,
  Fla.  She was a member of the Church of the Brethren.  Family will
  receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday at Deaner Funeral
  Home, Stoystown, where services will be conducted at 4 p.m. Sunday,
  the Rev. Millard Weaver.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
