  LAUNTZ
  
  Mrs. Gertrude Launtz, 94, 681 Walnut St., San Carlos, California,
  died July 8, 1974 in California.  Born June 23, 1880 in Somerset
  Township, daughter of Philip H. and Polly Fritz Walker.  Preceded in
  death by husband, Harvey Launtz; brothers, Austin, Edward, and Peter
  H. Walker.  Also, preceded in death by these sisters: Minerva (Mrs.
  Joseph) Auman, Alice (Mrs. Peter) Auman, Binnie (Mrs. William G.)
  Stahl and Annie (Mrs. John) Walters.  Survived by daughter Elna (Mrs.
  Norman) Trenholme of San Carlos, California and son Burdette Launtz of
  Portland, Oregon and five grandchildren.  Mrs. Launtz is also survived
  by many nieces and nephews in the Somerset area.  Was a member of
  Samuel's Lutheran Church of Somerset.  In lieu of flowers,
  contributions may be made to the Samuel's church, in care of Edmund
  Weigle, RD 6, Somerset.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday,
  July 10, 1974 at 10:30 a.m. in San Carlos, Calif.  Interment,
  Portland, Oregon.
