  LAUS
  
    Paul Albert Laus Sr., 86, of Rockwood RD 1 died Dec. 23, 1996, at
  Somerset Hospital.  Born April 4, 1910, in Somerset.  Son of the late
  Edward Kernan and Carrie Sydney (Critchfield) Laus.  Preceded in death
  by wife, the former Della Ruth Faidley, on April 24, 1995; a brother,
  Frederick Laus, and a grandson.  Survived by these children: Mrs.
  Robert (Janet) Mayhugh, Rockwood RD 3; Mrs. Richard L. (Rebecca)
  Queer, Rockwood RD 1, and Paul A. Laus Jr., married to the former
  Joyce Weimer, of Rockwood RD 1.  Also three grandsons.  Member of
  Messiah Lutheran Church and the Laurel Ridge Sportsmen's
  Association.  Retired self-employed plasterer and had been the
  caretaker for the Metz and Ogle farm.  Friends will be received from
  3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home,
  where services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, Rev. John Palko
  officiating.  Interment, New Centerville Union Cemetery. 
  Contributions may be made to Somerset "In Touch" Hospice, 651 North
  Center Ave., Somerset, PA 15501.
