  KATHRYN R. LAVELLE
  
    Kathryn R. LaVelle, 85, formerly of 8 Mount Pleasant Street,
  Frostburg, Md.; died Aug. 24, 1981, in the Goodwill Mennonite Home,
  Grantsville, Md.  She had been in ill health for the past five years.
    She was born in Vale Summit, and was a daughter of the late Henry
  and Mary (Brady) Cain.  Her husband, William D. LaVelle, died in 1963.
    She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church and the Sodality
  of the church.
    She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Margaret Fair, Frostburg; and
  three grandchildren.
    Friends were received at the Hafer Frost Mansion Funeral Home.
