  LAYMAN
  
    Martha V. Layman, 87, Somerset, died May 6, 1995, at Patriot Manor,
  Somerset.  Born July 15, 1907, in Stonycreek Township, Somerset
  County.  Daughter of the late John and Jennie (Ringler) Zeigler. 
  Preceded in death by husband, Harry C. Layman; brother, Charles
  Zeigler; sisters, Sadie Witt, Naomi Pile and Mary Shank.  Survived by
  these children: Mrs. Ranse (Dorothy) Jeffreys, McKeesport; Dr. Richard
  T. Layman, Knoxville, Tn.; Mrs. James (Lois) Zarefoss, Midlothian,
  Va.; Frank R. Layman, Chino Valley, Az.; Herbert D. Layman, Dover,
  Del.; Dr. Don L. Layman, New Orleans, La.; Mrs. Ronald (Donna) Egolf,
  Friedens, RD 1; also 14 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. 
  Member of Grace United Methodist Church, Somerset.  Friends received
  from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 Tuesday at the Hauger-Ziegler Funeral Home,
  Somerset, where service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Rev,
  Charles Olson officiating.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial
  Park.  Contributions may be made to Grace United Methodist Church
  Felgar Road, Somerset, Pa. 15501.
