  Harry J. Layton, Sr., 64, of House 18 Nichols St., Jenners, died June
  23, 1972 at Somerset Community Hospital; born July 16, 1907 in
  Jenners; a son of John and Ida Plummer Layton; survived by his widow,
  the former Mary Thomas and two children, Harry J. Jr., of Somerset,
  and Faye wife of Jack Thompson Sr., 513 Coleman Ave., Johnstown, nine
  grandchildren, one great-grandson; was a brother of Mrs. Betty
  Scaccia, Brooklyn, N.Y. and Lloyd of Jerome; preceded in death by
  parents, two daughters, Flora Mae and Barbara Ann, and two sisters,
  Cora and Rebecca and a brother, John; was a retired coal miner,
  member of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Jenners, Jenner Rod and
  Gun Club and Local 1040 UMWA Johnstown.
