  Harry J. Layton Jr., 51, 136 West Main St., Somerset, formerly of
  Boswell, died July 20, 1978, at Somerset Community Hospital.  Born
  May 16, 1927, in Jerome.  Son of Harry J. and Elizabeth (Buckingham)
  Layton Sr.  Preceded in death by father; sister, Flora Mae, and
  half-sister, Barbara Ann.  Survived by mother, Mrs. Elizabeth
  Leiberknight, Johnstown; stepmother, Mrs. Mary Layton, Boswell;
  widow, Larraine, Somerset; and these children: Harry J. III,
  Stoystown RD 1; Elizabeth Ann, Greenpoint, N.Y.; Patricia Urbassik,
  Johnstown; David W., Somerset; Rose Marie Paruch, Jenners; and two
  grandchildren.  Brother of Mrs. Faye Thompson, Johnstown.  Veteran of
  WWII; served in U.S. Navy.  Friends received from 7-9 p.m. Saturday
  and 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Sunday at Joseph G. Hoffman Funeral Home, 409 Main
  St., Boswell, where service will be held 10 a.m. Monday with the Rev.
  Herbert Lohr officiating.  Interment, Maple Springs Cemetery.
