June 3, 1931 October 27, 2008 Jacqueline M. Lear, 77 of Garrett, went home to be with her Lord on October 27, 2008 at Somerset Hospital. She was born June 3, 1931 in Garrett, daughter of the late Otto and Margaret (Burkholder) Haer. She is survived by her husband, William A. Lear and four children: Yvonne D. wife of Vaughn Hay, Garrett; Teresa L. wife of James Snyder, Garrett; Dana L. wife of Mel Hetz II, Meyersdale; and Michael S. Lear and his wife Karen, Meyersdale. Also survived by grandchildren: Matthew Hay and his wife Jen, Amy Kelly, Adam Snyder, Nicole and Justin Platt, Sidney, Madison and Lakyn Lear; great grandchildren: Cassie and Ashton Kelly, and Dylan Hay. Jackie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be greatly missed by everyone. She was a life member of Center Church Garrett, where she was a member of the Ladies Aide, and she attended the Pearls of Wisdom class at the Meyersdale Grace Brethren Church. Friends were received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Price Funeral Home Meyersdale, where service was conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, with the Rev. Randy Haulk and Rev.
