  LAWRENCE E. LEAZIER
  
    Lawrence "Ted" Leazier, 64, of 121 Amity Street, Reading, died
  Monday, October 11, in the Community General Hospital, where he had
  been a patient since September 11.
    The husband of Mary K. (Kutzniar) Leazier, he was born in
  Meyersdale, Aug. 4, 1918, a son of Charles E. and Viola (Arnold)
  Leazier.
    An Army veteran of World War II, he had been employed as a diesel
  engineer by the Carpenter Steel Corp., now Carpenter Technology, for
  41 years before retiring in 1981.
    Leazier was a member of Peace Lutheran Church.
    In addition to his widow, he is survived by two sons: Lawrence E.
  Jr., and Charles E., both at home and three grandchildren.
    Also a sister, Mary C., wife of Homer L. Keim, Laureldale.
    Friends were received at the Cramp Funeral Home Inc., where the
  funeral was conducted Friday, October 15, with the Rev. Rodger A.
  Krause, officiating.  Interment in Charles Evans Cemetery.
