LEAZIER Lawrence "Ted" Leazier, 64, of 121 Amity Street, Reading, died Monday, October 11, in the Community General Hospital, where he had been a patient since September 11. The husband of Mary K. (Kutzniar) Leazier, he was born in Meyersdale, Aug. 4, 1918, a son of Charles E. and Viola (Arnold) Leazier. An Army veteran of World War II, he had been employed as a diesel engineer by the Carpenter Steel Corp., now Carpenter Technology, for 41 years before retiring in 1981. Leazier was a member of Peace Lutheran Church. In addition to his widow, he is survived by two sons: Lawrence E. Jr., and Charles E., both at home and three grandchildren. Also a sister, Mary C., wife of Homer L. Keim, Laureldale. Friends were received at the Cramp Funeral Home Inc., where the funeral was conducted Friday, October 15, with the Rev. Rodger A.
