Lee, 73, died December 29, 1976, at home in Summit Township, Meyersdale RD 1. He was born March 3, 1903, in Summit Township, a son of Noah J. Lee and Matilda (Yoder) Lee. He is survived by his wife Lavina M., and eight sons: Albert D., Edwin D., and John D., all of New Wilmington RD 1; Henry D., New Castle; Gideon D., St. Mary's Md.; Simon D., Spartansburg, Pa.; Enos D., Westey, Wisconsin; Levi D., Conneaut Lake, Pa.; and six daughters: Mrs. Lydia Coblentz, Wroxeter, Canada; Mrs. Matilda Nissley, Fisherville, Va.; Mrs. Bertha Mast, Marietta, Ohio; Mrs. Lena Byler, New Wilmington; Mrs. Betty Mast, Volent, Pa.; and Mrs. Nancy Zook, Meyersdale RD 1; also the following step-children: Mrs. Molly Troyer, New Wilmington; Mrs. Elizabeth Mast and David Hostetler, both of Grantsville. He is also survived by 115 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Also surviving him are three sisters: Mrs. Fannie Summy, Grantsville; Mrs. Iva Hostetler, Dry Run, Pa.; and Mrs. Lizzie Peachy, Belleville; and three brothers: Albert Lee and Milton Lee, both of Bowling Green, Missouri; and John Lee, Newburg, Pa. Mr. Lee was a member of Summit Hills Amish Church. Funeral services were held January 1 at 10 a.m. in Niverton Amish Church in charge of Norman Swartzentruber and Simon Swartzentruber, pastors of a Dover, Delaware, church. Interment was in Niverton Cemetery. Arrangements were in charge of Thomas Funeral Home. Meyersdale Republican, January 6, 1977 [L0489]
