  ROY C. LEE SR.
  
    Roy C. Lee Sr., 76, of Wellersburg, died Jan. 20, 1973, in Memorial
  Hospital, Cumberland.
    Born in Chaneysville, March 1, 1897, he was a son of the late
  Clayton C. and Ella (Walters) Lee.
    A retired coal miner, Mr. Lee was a member of the Wellersburg
  Lutheran Church; Old Rail Post 6025 VFW, Mt. Savage; Wellersburg
  Volunteer Fire Department; Queen City Chapter Antique Auto Club,
  Somerset County Firemen's Association, Junior Order of United
  American Mechanics and a Marine veteran of World War I.
    He is survived by his widow, the former Jessie Rizer; two
  daughters, Mrs. Pauline Gomer and Mrs. Laverne Sparr, and a son, Roy
  C. Lee Jr., all of Wellersburg; 13 grandchildren, ten
  great-grandchildren; also three sisters, Mrs. Carrie Keel, Mrs. Alma
  Browning and Mrs. Ada Bailey, all of Cumberland.
    Funeral service was held Tuesday afternoon in Wellersburg United
  Church of Christ with Rev. John Glick officiating.  Interment in
  Wellersburg Cemetery.
