  LEEDY
  
  Arlene (Beachy) Leedy, 78, of 194 Grant Street, Grantsville, Md.,
  (formerly of Towson, Md.), died Nov. 8, 2002 at Memorial Hospital,
  Cumberland, Md.  Born May 30, 1924 at Grantsville, Md., she was the
  daughter of the late Sherman E. and Clara (Miller) Beachy.  Also
  preceded in death by two brothers, William Blaine Beachy, Sherman
  Beachy, Jr.; two sisters, Joann Beachy and Margaret Peck.  She is
  survived by two brothers, Cecil Beachy, Somerset, Virgil Beachy,
  Grantsville, Md.; one sister, Helen Durst, Salisbury, and a number of
  nieces and nephews.  Mrs. Leedy was a payroll secretary for Gemstar,
  Hunt Valley, Md.  She was a member of Maple Grove Church of the
  Brethren and attended Cherry Grove Church of the Brethren.  She also
  was a member of St. John's Old Tenth Ward, Towson, Md.  Friends will
  be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Newman
  Funeral Homes, P.A., 179 Miller Street, Grantsville, Md., where
  services will be conducted at the funeral home at 2 p.m., Sunday,
  with Rev. Henry Elsea, Jr. officiating.  Interment will be in the
  Grantsville Cemetery.  Contributions may be directed to Cherry Grove
  Church of the Brethren.
