  LEER
  
  Albert C. "Bert" Leer, 89, of Tayman Avenue, Somerset, died Dec. 4,
  1987, in Somerset Community Hospital.  He was born April 24, 1898, in
  Upper Turkeyfoot Township, a son of the late William Austin and
  Rebecca Jane (Clevenger) Leer.  Preceded in death by his wife, the
  former Cordie E. Younkin; three brothers and four sisters.  He is
  survived by one sister, Mrs. Elda L. Merrill, Somerset; and 27 nieces
  and nephews.  He was formerly employed by Musser's Bakery for many
  years, and was a professional locksmith for 25 years.  Friends will
  be received Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in Robert H. Halverson Funeral
  Home where services will be conducted Monday at 1:30 p.m., with
  Speaker Lowell Beal.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.  In
  lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salvation Army.
