  Wilbert Clyde (Pat) Leer, 72, of Markleton RD 1 died Dec. 29, 1974 in
  Somerset Community Hospital.  Born Sept. 14, 1902 in Upper Turkeyfoot
  Township, a son of William and Rebecca Clevenger Leer.  Survived by
  his wife Marie Koontz Leer and the following children: Mrs. George O.
  Schrock of Somerset; Mrs. Clarence Weimer of McConnellsburg; Mrs.
  William Margo of Struthers, Ohio; Richard of Somerset; Mrs. Paul
  Stewart of Pittsburgh; Mrs. Ernest Stahl of Somerset; Wilbert Jr. of
  Somerset; Mrs. William Frantz of New Hampshire; Mrs. George Pitzer of
  Rhode Island; Ben of Markleton; Edward of Somerset; Thomas of Berlin;
  Mrs. Phillip Londo of California; Miss Peggy Leer of Cumberland, Md.;
  and Samuel of Markleton.  Also by 30 grandchildren; one brother,
  Albert of Somerset; and two sisters, Mrs. Harold Merrill and Mrs.
  Richard Irwin both of Somerset.  Friends are being received after 7
  p.m., Tuesday at the Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence, where service
  will be held Thursday, Jan. 2 at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Dennis
  Dawson officiating.  Interment, Somerset Memorial Park.
