  LEGARSKI
  
  Joseph M. Legarski, 69, Johnstown, formerly of Acosta, died Jan. 14,
  1988, at Mercy Hospital, Johnstown.  Born Aug. 18, 1918, in Boston,
  Mass., son of the late Peter and Anna (Bernat) Legarski.  Preceded in
  death by first wife, former Ruth Harris.  Survived by wife, the former
  Catherine Barna; these children: Dale Burkholder, Hellertown; Ted,
  Dowingtown; Joseph "Pat" of Acosta; Darcie Rummell, Johnstown; 3
  grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild.  Was a brother of: John, Somerset;
  Leo, Acosta; and Mrs. Mary Morelli, New Jersey.  Retired from Island
  Creek Coal Co.  Friends will be received 2-9 p.m. Friday at Francis
  G. Ozog Funeral Home, 710 Broad St., Johnstown.  Services 11 a.m.
  Saturday, the Rev. Anthony Legarski, his nephew officiating. 
  Interment, St. Francis Cemetery.
