Legas, 60, of Rockwood RD 2, died Nov. 26, 1984, at Somerset Community Hospital. Born Feb. 6, 1924, in Fayette County, son of the late Andrew Legas. Preceded in death by brothers: William, Milton, Calvin and Harry; and a granddaughter. Survived by his mother, the former Anna Cane; also survived by his wife, Bessie (Henry) Legas; the following daughters: Mrs. Allen (Donna) Pollock and Mrs. William (Dianna) Perry, both of Rockwood; four grandchildren; the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Goldie Johnson of Mt. Pleasant; Mrs. Don (Ada) Ansell of Rockwood; Frank of Mt. Pleasant; Charles of Monongahela, Pa.; Mrs. David (Jennie) Heater of Connellsville; and Mrs. Frank (Rose Ann) Kitta of Stahlstown. He was a member of Laurel Mountain Chapel in Trent and was a lifetime member of Trent Rod & Gun Club. Friends will be received Tuesday after 4 p.m. at the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home in Somerset where the funeral service will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Gerald Deffenbaugh officiating. Interment, Miller Cemetery.
