ELIZABETH LEGEER

  Mrs. Elizabeth Legeer, aged 79, widow of the late John Legeer, Sr., died at 
the home of her son, John Legeer, near Bittinger, Md., Wednesday, May 15.  
Funeral services were held in the Bittinger Lutheran Church, last Saturday 
afternoon at 2 o'clock.  Rev. John Metzler, a Mennonite minister, officiated.  
Interment in the church cemetery.  
  Mrs. Legeer was the daughter of the late Thomas and Anna E. Bowser and was 
born at Bittinger.  Her husband died several months ago.
  Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. James Jones of Hagerstown and Mrs. Charles 
Fazenbaker of Savage River; two sons, John Legeer, Jr., and George Legeer of Mt. 
Savage, and a number of nieces and nephews and grandchildren, and one brother, 
Louis Bowser, of Bittinger.
