  LEHMAN
  
  Betty L. Lehman, 87, Kantner, died June 2, 1988, at Somerset
  Community Hospital.  Born July 15, 1900, in Shade Township, daughter
  of the late Jonas and Alverta (Bowman) Lohr.  Preceded in death by
  husbands, Arville Berkebile, Dwight Powell and Luther Lehman, son,
  Dean; and brother, Wesley.  Survived by these children: Jay, married
  to Margaret Oester, Spotsylvania, Va.; Raymond, married to Ruth
  Manges, Hooversville RD 1; and Mrs. Andrew (Kay) Shontofski,
  Stoystown RD 2, 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.  Sister
  of Forrest A., married to Estella Grine, Kantner.  Member of Kantner
  United Methodist Church, Stoystown Lioness Club and Sixth Society of
  Farm Women.  Family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. Friday and 2-4 and
  7-9 p.m. Saturday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, and from 1 p.m.
  until service at 2 p.m. Sunday at Kantner United Methodist Church,
  the Revs. Ed and Brenda Fritz officiating.  Interment, Otterbein
  Cemetery.
