Lehman, 81, 237 Statler Road, Windber, died June 16, 1984, at Windber Hospital. He was born April 9, 1903, in Paint Township, Somerset County, son of Samuel B. and Ellen B. (Statler) Lehman. He was preceded in death by parents; sisters, Effie Corle, Laura Eppley, Norma Wirick, Ella Gephart and Fern Horner; and brothers, William, married to former Bertha Helman; Oscar, married to former, Cora Yonker; Dewey; Robert; and Dean. He is survived by widow, former Isabelle Poet; son, Homer, Windber; and grandson, Gerald W., brother of Ida Shaffer, Windber; Samuel, married to former Ollie Beeghley, Arbutus Village; Bertha Weyant, Berlin; and Thelma Wirick, Windber; also survived by brother-in-law, Harry Horner, and sisters-in-law, Margaret, widow of Dewey; Addie, widow of Hobert; and Florence, widow of Dean. He was a member of Windber Church of the Brethren and Windber Local 6186, UMWA. Friends were received at Meek Funeral Home, Inc. Service was held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Windber Church of the Brethren, the Rev. David Shetler officiating. Interment, Berkey Cemetery, Windber. The Republic, June 21, 1984 [L0545]
