LETA MILLER LEIF

  Mrs. Leta Miller Leif, Meyersdale, died Sunday, May 22, in the Washington 
Hospital, Washington, Pa.  Suffering with a heart ailment, she had been cared 
for at the home of her son, George Leif, Washington, for several months.  
Recently her condition seemed better and she visited her home in Meyersdale over 
the weekend of May 14.
  She was born May 15, 1895, the daughter of Mrs. Elizabeth Kheim Miller and the 
late William G. Miller.
  Surviving besides her mother and son, George Leif, are two sisters, Mrs. Hazel 
Wilmoth and Miss Mary Miller, Meyersdale, and a brother, Newton H. Miller, 
Pittsburgh.
  The body was brought to the Miller home on Broadway where funeral services 
were conducted Wednesday afternoon at 4 o'clock by the Rev. Edwin C. Nagle, 
pastor of the Amity Evangelical and Reformed Church.  Interment in Union 
Cemetery under the direction of Konhaus Funeral Home.
