LENHART Homer Benjamin Lenhart, 80, died April 26, in Bedford County Memorial Hospital, Bedford, where he had been a patient for six weeks. Born in Garrett, he was a son of the late Nelson and Virginia (Bowman) Lenhart. A retired employee of the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Company, he was a veteran of World War I and held membership in Central Christian Church and Oscar Jordon Post 7375, Veterans of Foreign Wars. Surviving are his wife, the former Allie Bradigan; a daughter, Mrs. Pauline Slegner, Hyndman; a grandchild; and these brothers and sisters: Earl Lenhart, Somerset; McKinley and Philson, Garrett; Mrs. Fannie Christner, Denver; and Mrs. James Norris, Boonsboro. Funeral service was held at Zeigler Funeral Home, Hyndman, on Saturday afternoon, with Revs. James Ryan and H.B. Rittenhouse officiating. Interment was made in Hyndman Cemetery, with honors accorded by the color guard of Bedford post, American Legion. Meyersdale Republican, May 4, 1967 [L0613]
