Lenhart, 72, of Garrett, died May 18, 1973, at his residence. Born in Garrett, June 30, 1900, he was a son of Nelson H. and Virginia (Bauman) Lenhart. Surviving are his wife, the former Thelma Grant; eight children, Charles of York; Guy and Mrs. George (Joyce) Nicklow, Thomasville; Belmont of Boynton; Jay of Hellem; Homer, Wellsville; Mrs. Bernard (Thelma) Nolte and Mrs. Howard (Sarah) Gary of Garrett; also 23 grandchildren, one great-grandchild; two brothers, William McKinley Lenhart, Garrett, and Earl of Listie; and a sister, Mrs. James (Violet) Norris, Boonesboro, Md. He was a retired miner and a member of the United Methodist Church of Garrett. Funeral service was held Monday afternoon in the United Methodist Church, Garrett, with Rev. Paul E. Snyder and Rev.
