  SYDNEY M. LENHART
  
    Miss Sydney M. Lenhart, 85, died Dec. 27 at the Church of the
  Brethren Home in Scalp Level.
    She was born January 1891 in Summit Township, the daughter of the
  late Alex and Mary (Bender) Lenhart.  She is survived by her sister,
  Miss Naomi Lenhart, also at Scalp Level and a number of nieces and
  nephews.
    Miss Lenhart was a teacher in the Meyersdale Area Schools for 46
  years before her retirement in 1954.  At that time she was teaching
  in the Glade City Elementary School.
    Friends were received at the Price Funeral Home, where services
  were conducted December 29 with the Rev. Joseph Hanna officiating. 
  Interment was in Union Cemetery.
