Born Sept. 21, 1897, in Williamstown, Mo., he was a son of the late William and Lou (Connor) Lenhart. Surviving are his wife, the former Adelaide Reich, formerly of Meyersdale; a stepson, Edgar Bard, Chicago; a brother, Charles, Phoenix, Ariz., two sisters, Mrs. Louwilla Bennett, Ames, Iowa; and Mrs. Evelyn Copeman, Fairmont, W.Va. A former manager of Meyersdale's H-P Store, for 12 years, he also served as steward of the Elks Club here for two years. He was a veteran of World War I and is a past commander of Charles E. Kelly Post 112, American Legion. He was also a charter member of the local Elks lodge. While here, he was active in the Meyersdale Chamber of Commerce and participated in promotion of the Maple Festival. Funeral service was held at Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale, on Wednesday morning, with Rev. W.A. Cassidy officiating. Interment was made in the Kingwood (W.Va.) cemetery.
