Born Oct. 22, 1896 in Garrett, a son of the late Nelson and Virginia (Bowman) Lenhart. Survived by his wife, the former Clara Moyle and these children: Andrew of Garrett; James, Richard and Terry, all of York; Robert of Lancaster; Glenn of Rockwood RD 1; Bernard of Windsor; Walter of Garrett RD 1; Stanley of Manchester; Mrs. Dorothy Yoder of Warren, Ohio; Mrs. Vivian Ludden of Meyersdale; and Mrs. Bessie Christner of Baden; 26 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. A brother of Earl of Listie; and Mrs. Violet Norris of Hancock, Md. He was a veteran of World War I, and was a member of Company C. Also a member of the Garrett United Methodist Church. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at the United Methodist Church, Garrett, where the body will lie in state from 1 p.m. until time of service with the Rev. Paul Snyder officiating.
