Leonard, 56, Markleysburg, died suddenly April 25, 2002, at his home. Born Feb. 16, 1946 in Confluence, son of the late Russell and Georgie (Bryner) Leonard. Survived by his wife of 36 years, Gale Lorene (Myers) Leonard; three children, Malinda Workman and husband Howard J., of Uniontown, Jason Leonard and wife Carla of Markleysburg, and Russell B. "Rusty" Leonard and wife Heidi of Confluence; six grandchildren, Charity, Courtney and Dereck Workman, and Hailey, Heather and Rebecca Leonard; one brother, Russell B. iJoei Leonard of Grantsville, Md., and a sister Kathryn iFlipi Van Nosdeln of Ohiopyle. Attended Gospel Center Church, where he served as a trustee. Owner-operator of Leonard Forest Products. Graduate of South Union High School Class of 1965 and Served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. Service was held Sunday in the Donald R. Crawford Funeral Home, Farmington. Interment, Bryner Ridge Cemetery.
