MARGARET LEONARD

  Mrs. Margaret Rees Leonard, 77, wife of Edward D. Leonard, of Macon, Ga., and 
formerly well known and beloved resident of Meyersdale, passed away at 11:30, 
Thursday, Dec. 17, 1942, in a hospital in Macon, where she had been taken after 
suffering a stroke about four days earlier.  After brief services in Macon, her 
body was brought to Meyersdale to the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. 
and Mrs. Fulton Shipley, where funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon 
at 2:30, by Rev. R. M. Dunkelberger, pastor of  the Lutheran Church.  Interment 
was made in Union Cemetery, H. R. Konhaus, local mortician in charge.

MARGARET LEONARD

  Mrs. Margaret Rees Leonard, of Macon, Ga., mother of Mrs. Fulton Shipley, died 
today (Thursday) at noon.  Body will be brought here for burial.  Funeral 
services at the Shipley home, Sunday afternoon, Rev. R. M. Dunkelberger, D.D., 
officiating.  Interment in Union Cemetery.
