Leonard, of Macon, Ga., and formerly well known and beloved resident of Meyersdale, passed away at 11:30, Thursday, Dec. 17, 1942, in a hospital in Macon, where she had been taken after suffering a stroke about four days earlier. After brief services in Macon, her body was brought to Meyersdale to the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Fulton Shipley, where funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon at 2:30, by Rev. R. M. Dunkelberger, pastor of the Lutheran Church. Interment was made in Union Cemetery, H. R. Konhaus, local mortician in charge.
