IDA ELIZABETH LEPLEY

  Mrs. Ida Elizabeth (Emerick) Lepley, 77, wife of Samuel Lepley of Hyndman 
R.D., was found dead in bed last Thursday at her home.  She had been in failing 
health for a number of months.  Mrs. Lepley was a daughter of Solomon and Ellen 
Emerick, both deceased, and was born on March 19, 1864, in Gladdens, Pa.  Her 
death broke a marriage of 57 years.
  Mrs. Lepley leaves her husband and these children: Earl Lepley, Mt. Savage, 
Md.; James Lepley, Wellersburg; Mrs. Earl Korns and Mrs. Allen Bittner, both of 
Hyndman R.D.; Harvey Lepley, Wellersburg; Alonzo Lepley, Hyndman R.D., and Miss 
Mary Lepley, Cumberland, Md.  She was a sister of John and George Emerick and 
Mrs. Christ Emerick, all of Hyndman.  Also surviving are 20 grandchildren and 12 
great-grandchildren.
  Funeral services were conducted at 2:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the Lepley 
home by Rev. G. R. Winters.  Interment was in the Lepley Cemetery under the 
direction of the Zeigler Funeral Home of Hyndman.
