  J. ELMER LEPLEY
  
    J. Elmer Lepley, 83, Hyndman RD 1, retired farmer and justice of
  the peace of Southampton township, died May 8.
    Born in Gladdens Sept. 25, 1883, he was a son of Simon A. and Mary
  Ann (Shumaker) Lepley.
    Surviving are his wife, the former Margaret D. Miller; a son,
  Robert B., Somerset; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren;
  also two brothers; Jesse C. Lepley, La Vale, and Oscar A., Wellersburg.
    A member of United Church of Christ, Wellersburg, service was
  conducted by his pastor, Rev. John A. Klindt, at Zeigler Funeral
  Home, Hyndman, on Wednesday morning.  Interment was made in IOOF
  cemetery, Berlin.
