   LaVerne A. Lepley, 78, Accident, Md., and formerly of Berlin, died Feb. 24, 2007, at
  Goodwill Mennonite Home, Grantsville, Md. Born Sept. 20, 1928, in Somerset County, she
  was the daughter of the late Earl and Margaret Elizabeth (Brown) Seifert. She is survived
  by three sons, Dwight "Butch", Lawrence and Paul Lepley, all of Meyersdale; three
  daughters, Mary Gardner, Baltimore, Md.; Esther Friend, Venice, Fla.; Carol A. Ohler,
  Meyersdale; one brother, Robert Seifert, Meyersdale; 14 grandchildren and five
  great-grandchildren. She was a retired Certified Nurses Aide with Meadow View Nursing
  Home, Berlin, and previously worked for Meyersdale Manufacturing. Friends will be
  received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Newman Funeral Home Inc., 9168 Mason-Dixon
  Highway, Salisbury, where a service will be conducted 11 a.m. Wednesday, the Rev. Philip
  Matthews officiating. Interment White Oak Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be
