Born Jan. 4, 1926 in Nanty Glo, son of Walter Sr. and Bertha (Dunlap) Lepley. Preceded in death by father, infant daughter, brothers Edward and Donald and infant sister and brother. Wife of 37 years, former Helen Baca, died in same accident. Survived by mother, Boswell and these children: David W., married to former Donna Trask, Minot, N.D.; Patricia A., wife of Howard Hanes, Boswell; Elizabeth A. "Peggi," wife of John Zadzora, Jenners; Gary A., married to Christina Palmer, Boswell RD 2; Ronald W. married to the former Deborah Trapani, Stoystown RD 3; Richard B., married to former Becky Brandemarte, Boswell, and Christopher J. and fiancee Casey Carussa, U.S. Navy; nine grandchildren. Brother of Dolores, wife of Jay Lockard; Mark, married to the former Shirley Lybarger; Judy, and Carol, wife of Donald Moskey; all of Boswell; Paul, married to former Pauline Vinisky, Burke, Va.; Marlene, wife of Robert Skomra, Upper Marlboro, Md.; Thomas, married to Joanne Yoder, York, Pa.; and Penny Manzulich, Latrobe; also sisters-in-law Rose Lepley and Nancy Lepley, all of Boswell. Member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church and choir, Boswell, Boswell Post No. 461 American Legion, where he was past commander; Jenner Rod and Gun Club and U.M.W.A. Retired employee of Latrobe Construction, Army veteran of World War II and Korean Conflict and recipient of Silver Star. Former mayor of Boswell. Friends received from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Main Street, Boswell, where wake service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Sunday. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Stanislaus Church, Father Hilary Brzostowsky, O.F.M., Conv. Interment, church cemetery. Full military graveside rite.
