    Evelyn (Shubik) Lesko, 68, of Hill Street, Jenners died Sept. 14,
  1997 at home.  Born Feb. 21, 1929 in Jenners, daughter of John and
  Pauline (Pelesky) Shubik.  Preceded in death by parents; husband
  Charles R. on Oct. 1, 1995; sister Helen O'Connor; and brother
  Samuel.  Survived by these children: Karen Lasky at home; Paula, wife
  of Marc Ridilla, Boswell; Laura Jo, wife of Dr. Ronald E. Baird,
  Buffalo, N.Y., and Charles E., Jenners.  Also grandchildren Brad,
  Aimee, Emily and Hank Lasky, Bryan and Trevor Ridilla, and Katie,
  Julia and Jennifer Baird.  Sister of: Ann Telenko, Jenners; John,
  Houston, Texas, and Joseph of Jerome.  Member of St. Mary's Orthodox
  Greek Catholic Church, Jenners.  Registered nurse having retired from
  the Somerset Hospital with 39 years service.  Beloved wife and devoted
  caregiver to her late husband and loving mother, grandmother and baby
  sitter to her children and grandchildren.  Friends received from 7 to
  9 p.m. Monday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Hoffman
  Funeral Home, Main Street, Boswell, where funeral service will be
  sung at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday and Panachida at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday.  Due
  to fire damage at St. Mary's Church, Divine Funeral Liturgy will be
  held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at S.S. Peter and Paul Russian Orthodox
  Church, Boswell, Rev. Father R. Michael Zak celebrant.  Interment,
  St. Mary's Cemetery, Jenners.  Memorials to the American Cancer
  Society, 168 West Union St., Somerset, PA 15501 or the Alzheimer's
  Association, Laurel Mtn. Chapter, 1011 Old Salem Road, Greensburg, PA
  15601 would be appreciated.
