  James E. (Kes) Leslie, 72, Rockwood RD 2, died June 10, 1984, at
  home.  Born Aug. 30, 1911, in Fort Hill, son of late James Beaver and
  Corda (Hechler) Leslie Keslar.  Preceded in death by sister,
  half-sister and infant son.  Survived by wife of 47 years, former
  Barbara Miller; and following children: Mrs. Alvin (Ruth) Moore,
  Rockwood RD 2; Donald Ray, Somerset RD 1; Alvin Earl, Fort Hill; Mrs.
  Ralph (Arlene) Ruggiero, New Jersey; Wilbur Eugene, Jackson, Miss.;
  Mrs. George (Gloria) Ream, Goldsboro, Pa.; Mrs. Raymond (Mary)
  Contarino, Maine; and Mrs. Albert (Shielda) Moore, New Jersey; also
  23 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.  Member of Kingwood
  Church of God.  Retired farmer.  Friends will be received from 7 to 9
  p.m. Tuesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Wilbur D. Miller
  Funeral Home, where service will be conducted 1:30 p.m. Thursday, the
  Rev. Paul Tobias officiating.  Interment, Kingwood I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
