  LETCHER
  
  Howard W. Letcher, 50, of Wilmington, Del., formerly of Hooversville,
  died Oct. 5, 1972, in Wilmington Veteran's Administration Hospital. 
  He was born in Ralphton on April 5, 1922, a son of the late Mr. and
  Mrs. Richard Letcher Sr.  Preceded in death by parents and one
  sister, Mrs. Gladys Gates.  Survived by one sister and one brother:
  Mrs. Grace Reighard of Johnstown and Richard of Somerset.  He was a
  veteran of World War II, having served with the U.S. Marine Corps.
