Levy, widow of Abram S. Levy, died last Thursday afternoon at her home in Ursina, after an illness of about one month. Had she lived until February 16, next, she would have been 87 years old. Born in Somerset in 1846, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Fleming, she and Abram Levy were married in Johnstown in 1866 and went to housekeeping at Jenner X Roads, where her husband had resided. Three years later they moved to Ursina where she had resided ever since. Mr. Levy died in 1917. Out of ten children born to them, nine survive: Miss Anna R. Levy, Peter W. Levy, Miss Lillian Levy, Miss Pearl Levy, James B. Levy, John F. Levy, all of Ursina; Attorney Joseph Levy of Somerset; Robert A. Levy of Point Marion and Edward R. Levy of Berlin. Mrs. Levy enjoyed excellent health until her fatal illness. She always delighted in her family and loved to have them around her and inspired in them a devotion rarely equaled. Funeral services were held at her late home Sunday afternoon at 2:30, Rev. G. O. Ritter, pastor of the Ursina Lutheran Church, officiating. Interment in the Ursina Cemetery.
