Leydig, 45, of 4600 Bermuda N.E., Albuquerque, N.M., died Sept. 13, 1981, as a result of an automobile accident in Albuquerque. He was born Feb. 11, 1936 in Fairhope, son of Ralph and Edna (Frazier) Leydig. He was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by wife, Elaine Smith Leydig, formerly of Berlin; children: Ricky, Linda, and Michael, all at home. He is also survived by mother, Edna, Berlin; brother Devon and grandmother, Mrs. Pearle Frazier, both of Buffalo Mills. He was employed as an electrical engineer with the Lovelace Corp., Albuquerque. He was a Korean War veteran and member of F. and A.M. Lodge and Pleasant Ridge United Methodist Church, Buffalo Mills. Funeral services were conducted at Fitchgerald Funeral Home, 3113 Carlisle Blvd., Albuquerque. Interment will be Sandia Memory Gardens, the Rev. Terry Morris officiating.
