Frank Liberty, 97, of Stoystown died Feb. 18, 2002 at Siemon Lakeview Manor Estate. Born Dec. 23, 1904 in Quemahoning Township, son of Harry and Maggie (Albright) Liberty. Preceded in death by parents, wife the former Josephine Meyers, two infant sons, sister Clara Fleagle, and brothers: William, Walter, Charles, Howard, and Russell. Survived by these daughters: Evelyn Brown of Clearwater Beach, Fla.; Barbara, married to Raymond Sturtz of Stoystown; and Sherry married to Elwood Yoder of Friedens. Grandchildren: Tina Ra Berkey, Steve and Joseph Yoder, Susan Keiser, Barry and Donald Sturtz, and nine great-grandchildren. Former owner operator of Frank Liberty Construction Co. Member of Kantner United Methodist Church, Quemahoning Rod and Gun Club, Hooversville and Laurel Hill sportsman's clubs. Past member of EUB Gospel Singers, Forbes and North Star school boards, Christian Businessmen's Association, and Stoystown Lions Club. Also a former judge for VICA. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday. Rev. Samuel Weible and Rev.
