  LIBERTY
  
  Josephine Liberty, 81, of Stoystown RD 1, died Aug. 23, 1989 at
  Somerset Hospital.  Born April 13, 1908 in Wellersburg, daughter of
  John H. and Mabel Shaffer Meyers.  Preceded in death by parents, two
  infant sons, four brothers and three sisters.  Survived by her
  husband of 56 years, B. Frank Liberty; daughters Evelyn Brown, Miami,
  Fla.; Mrs. Raymond (Barbara) Sturtz, Stoystown RD 3, and Mrs. Elwood
  (Sherry) Yoder, Friedens RD 2; six grandchildren and six
  great-grandchildren.  Sister of Mabel Showman of Somerset RD 2. 
  Member of Kantner United Methodist Church.  Family will receive
  friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Deaner Funeral Home,
  Stoystown, where service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Revs. Ed
  and Brenda Fritz.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
