Lichliter, Jr., 77, of Salisbury, died Aug. 6, 1986, at home. Born Jan. 31, 1909, in Salisbury, son of the late John C. and Jane (Rees) Lichliter. Survived by his wife, the former Elizabeth Boyer; one daughter, Elizabeth Ann Lichliter of Boothwyn, Pa.; one brother, Reese of Salisbury; and two sisters, Mrs. Winifred Newman, and Mrs. Emily Jane Hickson, both of Confluence. He operated the J.C. Lichliter Company Store in Salisbury until 1972. He was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Salisbury; member and past Master of Meyersdale Lodge 554, F. and AM. for 55 years; member of Hebron Royal Arch, Chapter 272, Meyersdale; Uniontown Commandry 49; Jaffa Shrine of Altoona; Grantsville Rotary Club; South Central Somerset County School Authority; and director of Liberty Bank of Grantsville. Masonic service will be held Friday at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Friends will be received Thursday from 7-9 p.m. and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Thomas Funeral Home, Salisbury, where funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Mark J.
