Born May 6, 1913, at Boynton, she was a daughter of the late Elmer and Carrie (Engle) Vought. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ira C. Lichty in 1980; 2 brothers, Ralph and Sam Vought, and a sister, Margaret Schrock. Mrs. Lichty was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Salisbury, and the American Legion Auxiliary. She is survived by 4 sons: Ira K. Lichty Jr. and wife, Marla A.; Richard L. Lichty and wife, Sandra K.; and Rodney D. Lichty and wife, Brenda L., all of Salisbury; and Paul E. Lichty and wife, Sharon L., Cumberland; a brother, Paul Vought, Summit Mills; 5 grandchildren: Jamie Lichty and wife, Julie; David Lichty, Jessica Lichty, Kristin Lichty and Daniel Lichty and a great-grandson, Samuel Lichty. Friends received from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville, Md., where services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, with the Rev.
